MINDFULLY JOURNEYING TOWARD AUTHENTICITY & WELLBEING
I compled my Master of Clinical Social Work at UBC Okanagan in September 2025. My journey toward becoming a counsellor began when I received invaluable acceptance and guidance from my own therapist at a young age. Inspired by that experience, my goal is to help you navigate challenges and discover your most authentic self.

The two words I would use to describe my counselling style are relational and experiential. Relational work looks at how you relate to yourself, others, and your surroundings including anything causing distress, disruption, or disconnection. It also includes our relationship in session, which can be used to generate insight and awareness. Experiential work often involves mindfulness-based activities, bringing attention to how your body, emotions, and thoughts are responding in the moment, helping you connect with and explore your experiences in a safe, supportive way.

I aim to provide person-centered, trauma-informed, strengths-based counselling to individuals, couples, and families. My approach is informed by narrative theories, psychodynamic theories, and positive psychology. I draw on techniques from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and emotion-focused therapy (EFT), while integrating mindfulness practices from my training and experience as a certified yoga and meditation instructor. Underlying all of these is a commitment to offering a non-pathologizing experience; this means you should never feel like you are the problem.
